Adam Responds to Kissing Photos
Adam Lambert is gay. He has nothing to hide and nothing to prove–it doesn’t get much more manly or irresistible than that! I love Adam’s response when asked about the photos all over the Internet in which he’s kissing boys (and a few where he’s kissing girls).
I’ll recap the dialogue. The reporter asks what Adam thinks about the recent controversy about the photos on the Internet. Adam says, “You know what…I am who I am. I have nothing to hide. This is about singing…nothing else.” Then he continues, “Yeah, I’m an entertainer. It doesn’t change anything.” The reporter asks, “But you kind of have to know that that kind of stuff is going to get out there, right?” And Adam says, “Yeah, I’ve never been shy about anything!”
But it kind of does change something. I don’t remember any other star–singer, actor, or other–who took America by storm at THIS rate while being openly gay from the get go. I mean, you have Tom Cruise who stole the hearts of young females for more than a decade (till he got way too weird) amidst rumors that he’s gay, but he even gets married to prove it’s not true. You have Ricky Martin–who fans went completely crazy over– similar to the fury Adam has stirred–who doesn’t deny it, but to my knowledge, still hasn’t admitted he’s gay (has he?). Then there are people like Elton John who are openly gay but not cute…
I don’t remember anyone being this hot and this adored by so many young ladies (and presumably young men as well:), while just saying “yeah, I am who I am”–that’s pretty brave. Quite manly of him, don’t you think?
Every time he opens his mouth, he gets hotter.
He’s totally in touch with who he is. That’s a big part of the reason he’s so fun to watch!!!
If people don’t like the fact that Adam’s gay, then don’t watch him. There is no reason to be hurtful or stupid people are always prejudice and afraid of what they don’t understand. Adam was screwed out of Idol because people didn’t see the person–they saw something they thought was abnormal. Grow up folks the man has more talent in is pinky than Kris has in his body. I’m a 49 year old woman and I think he’s hot and hes got an unbelivable voice. Adam needs to be true to himself and forget about people who want the world to be one way and that’s their way. Gay or not, I would just like to say that Adam Lambert has a gift. I really enjoy seing perform and I’m looking forward to listening to his first cd. Coming out soon, I hope!!

i think adam is awesome! and the fact that he can stand up to press nd be truthful. just shows how real he is. i think he has an incredible talent and hopefully he makes it real far. and for all those people who dont like him becuase hes gay. DONT watch him then. get over it.
I can’t believe there would be anyone in this day and age that would make Adam’s gayness an issue. The man is awesome and talented. He is so deserving. I could just melt hearing his voice in a slow song and I am a 64 year old grandma. Go Adam, follow your dreams. I will personally buy every one of your recordings. Use your God-given talents to the max, you have truly been blessed.
I am a 67 year old mother of five living in Mpumalanga, South Africa. My whole family and I could not wait for American Idols every week, just to see Adam Lambert performing. We have never seen anything like him. He is so hot, extremely handsome and with the best voice ever. There is nobody that could ever match him. I grew up with all Elvis songs and ofcourse we were are madly in love with Elvis. There has never (in my whole life) been anyone that could match Elvis untill now………… Adam Lambert. You are the BEST. We cannot wait for your CD’s and hope they will be available in South Africa. I really do not understand why America did not vote properly. You should have won by millions of votes. And then……Danny Gokey should have come second and Kris third. I wish Kris the best of luck but know that he will eventually disappear in the crowds!!!!! Adam please make sure that you will always be part of our lives with your amazing voice and talent and beautiful looks. Please stay just as you are and be yourself. We all LOVE you.
I’m 56 and I’m sure I’ll look strange when I attend Adam’s concert — a sure thing in the not too distant future. I don’t care what people will think — listening and watching Adam makes me happy. From the first note of his songs, I find myself stunned and watchful — waiting for the next note.. and as they come… the notes extend out thru the tv or mp3 like arms wrapping themselves around me…and I feel happy — and then the song ends and I’m ready for another round. My wish for Adam is that he realizes how enigmatic he truly is and goes it alone rather than linking with another group. Keep it Adam Lambert – period. However he decides to handle his life, I’m hooked and happy to experience his talent.
Who cares if he is gay or not…? It’s nobody’s business anyway. He is awesome, and that is all that matters. People need to get over themselves and mind their own business. If you don’t like him – don’t listen to him, and when he becomes a big recording artist, don’t buy his music. The choice is yours
i don’t care if he is gay .the man has a talent he rocked millions of fans all over the world that what prroves that he is somthing .if you really have the abelity of doing such thing i am tjast saying ……………the others….i don’t care if he even seiing a duck …i love this man and his songs ..they will last for ever …..adam i would be glad to meet tjast to say “that i am proud of you ” you didn’t hide anything or did somthing that is not you your brave ….and i see in you so much more….far….
I think Adam lambert is awesome also. I totally agree with those who believe he is an amazing person and he does have a gift from god it’s called talent. Those who are be judgeful it’s not your place. He is the worlds new enjoyment. As far as I am concerned, he should have won it but, because people are unfair and think they have a right to judge he didn’t win the title. Adam is better than a cheap political contest, he has won the hearts of many. What he does in his free time is his business. The people of the our land is more worried about who is messing with who when they should be worrying about the crazy’s on the street. There is nobody in his room but him and whoever! who cares. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, judge whats in side. GO LAMBERT!
Adam I can truely tell you that you are one God given Human Being who appear at the right time to take the nation in a whole new different world . May God continue to bless you and keep , I can tell you Adam that If you apply yourself properly through out your life and not listen to these lousy no good people who never get no where in life but sit down and talk about who is gay and who is not, Just hold your head up high, You are the next Micheal Jackson TO COME (God rest the dead) But you guys have so much in common So humble and have a good heart and never care what people have to say, Im sure those that are talking about you being gay especially woman is just dying to have a piece of you but they are mad because they cant get close to you.
