Adam Has Record Deal for Fall Album

In the new Rolling Stone that hit the stands yesterday, Adam Lambert announced that he has signed a deal for his debut album with 19 Entertainment and RCA. (He has referred to this album since May, just didn’t officially confirm the signed deal until this week).
Remember, he already has studio recordings done during American Idol on iTunes. (To download an mp3 by Adam or another favorite artist, click and search by name! Works for Mac or PC. The first time you visit, you download iTunes–after that, it’s automatic.)
One great new tidbit of information–the album is scheduled for FALL release, whereas before he had only mentioned a 2009 release! Prior to the release of the album, all of his recordings from American Idol (along with Kris Allen’s and actually any singer) can be downloaded from iTunes.
He wants a lot of input on the songs, as he has stressed from the beginning, perhaps in response to rumors that 19 Entertainment has been heavy-handed with other American Idol contestants who have signed on to develop music with the company.
Also in this edition, Lambert confirmed once and for all that he is gay–though we have all known that even longer than we’ve known about the upcoming album!
Adam is amazing and I love him forever, whether he be gay, straight, bisexual, or antisexual.

He’s okay. I never liked how he screams when he sings. It’s like he waits anxiously till the moment he can scream it out. Kind of annoying.

I’m so looking forward to Adam’s album scheduled for release this fall. About his being gay, I don’t care. He is the second runner-up in American Idol history to come second to someone else. I believe that Clay Aiken was the best overall voice for Season 2, I think, and Adam should have one for Season 8,. That’s my biased opinion. As good as the other guy (sorry, can’t remember his name, was) I felt an instant connection to Adam and his stage style and his voice. He is one awesome man. I just regret Clay Aiken’s unfortunate response to American Idol and Adam’s outing himself. To each their own to both Clay and to Adam.

By the way, Adam Lambert, I’m getting your CD for my birthday in September. That’s the first thing I asked for when I heard you had a CD coming out for the fall. I had to have it, no ifs ands or buts.

Adam Lambert has great voice and his showmanship is superb. for me, he is already a winner because of his superb performance.

Adam is a truly unique artist! This American Idol runner-up is truly a winner! I knew this would be even if he wasn’t given the win. Adam Lambert should have been the winner on american idol, he is very talented and is a great performer but he did not win.
